"My love for printmaking began during my A Levels, where I first explored dry point etching and mono-print techniques. This initial spark developed into a deeper passion as I pursued a diploma in Art and Design, continued through my undergraduate degree in Fine Art, and into my professional practice. I was fortunate to be awarded a printmaking fellowship at John Moores University in Liverpool, which further honed my skills and led to the purchase of my first printing press. This has allowed me to experiment with and refine a wide range of techniques. I’m drawn to the repetitive, rhythmic nature of printmaking and the physical engagement it demands — it creates a unique, almost meditative connection between the artist and the image."
