"Painting, for me, is the act of translating what I see and feel into a visual language that others can interpret—giving form to emotion and experience through paint. It’s not about perfection. While I sometimes adopt a photo-realist approach, my intention is always to retain the essence of painting: visible brushstrokes, texture, and the balance between movement and stillness. I’m drawn to both colour and form, often bending the rules of realism to create space for imagination, mistakes, and unexpected outcomes. I enjoy experimenting with both traditional and unconventional techniques, frequently working directly with my hands on canvas or paper to deepen that physical connection with the work."
